We opened our fourth year (2001 in KC) with an exhibition of new sculpture by Marcie Miller Gross. This was her second solo exhibition at the gallery. Titled "To Fold", the title literally referenced the artist's method of creating folded and stacked works, but also indicated their multiple readings. The collecting, sorting, and organizing of material was (and is) an important and inherent part of her working process.
